Sometimes, after I finish a book, it feels like all I need in life is another one by the same author. There is something about how they craft their characters, worlds, and ideas that captivates me. I will buy anything with this author's name on it without even bothering to read the synopsis.
I don't know about you, but for me 2019 was a life-changing year. I spent it figuring out what I value and want to spend time doing. Reading-wise, it was also special - this is the first time I managed to complete my Goodreads challenge and go over my modest goal of thirty books. That's right, I somehow read forty. So I feel like the year deserves wrapping up more than ever simply because it was so eventful.
